2002-11-14: As of two days ago, the large lock at the Ballard Locks is pumped out for its annual maintenance; to give you some idea of its scale, there's a man standing on the leg of the crane down in the lock - and there's another half to this chamber beyond the gates where the crane is. From yesterday morning.
