Colonnade Park? No. 2
2003-03-25: Another shot from Sunday of the proposed Colonnade Park space. With I-5 between Eastlake and Capitol Hill likened to "a scar along the chest of a heart bypass patient" and called "a noisy, poisonous wall," much of the justification for the park has been to reconnect the two neighborhoods. But if you're going to do that, why not do it right, and get rid of I-5 through downtown? (Read on to the second and third pages of this article.)
