Haleakala Sunrise No. 4
2005-02-05: Being so close the equator, the sun rises very quickly in Hawaii - this photo was taken only ten minutes after the sun first rose. The summit of one of the volcanoes on the big island is visible in the distance: the fainter, rounded peak at lower right.
